The view from the top of the mountains. This valley is where all the moose live in RMNP. It gets twice the rainfall than the other half of RMNP. The contention divide.
We saw tons of elk. This was a grouping of like 12 males all hanging out together. Doesn't happen often. Kurt took like a million pictures and I just put in two.
Here is another farther away.
Momma Moose and Baby Moose. We went through and saw 6 moose. It was the first time I had ever seen one and I saw 6. This top picture was a picture of a mom and baby. Couldn't get too close or we would have been run down by a mean momma.
here is another moose, right next to the road. Woohoo! We got some good shots.
