New Baby... (another girl)So we have another addition to our already estrogen rich family. Little Katelyn (Ruby??Rae?? we don't know the middle name yet) von Niederhausern came into this world at 4:15 pm on 11/11/2010. We woke up at 7:00 am and Megan said... I want this thing out of me...
I said well... there is not much I can do about it...
At about 7:30 Megan got her wish because her water broke and then I started the long process of getting things ready. While Megan was still deciding if her water had indeed broke or not, I had most of the girls ready to go.
We started our way to the hospital and got about 10 minutes away, only to remember that we forgot the most important thing!
The Laptop! What am I going to do while we wait for the baby to be born?
So we turned around and drove back home to get the Laptop. We then sent off for the hospital again. On the way, we decided that McDonald's would be good. So we made another detour.
Finally at about 9:30 am we stroll into the hospital with our backs loaded with a Laptop, Pillow, Bag, and DVD's only to bump into some new 1st time parents that were waiting in the lounge.
They had nothing with them. No bag, laptop or pillow. I leaned over to Megan and said... "Rookies!"
We waited in the delivery room until about 4:00 pm just waiting for anything to happen. Finally the nurse said "Lets check to see where you are at"... "Oh I think you are ready for the doctor"
Then the doctor showed up at 4:04. Megan pushes for 11 minutes and "Out pops our little baby". Just about our easiest baby yet. (if you ignore the 6 hour wait).
All in all she is a cutie.

Good Job on the Update Kurt! I'm very impressed! And Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations! I'm so glad things went well for Megan and Katelyn, so cute name by the way. Good luck to all of you for the next while! I wish I was there to bring you guys dinner!

The other day I was driving on BW parkway near where the Goddard interns lived and I remembered why I am so grateful that summer is over! I thought to myself "I wonder how Megan and Kurt are doing?" and it looks like your family is doing great. Congrats on Baby Katelyn and glad Megan is doing well:)

Congratulations Megan and Kurt! I can't believe you are old enough to have 4 children. What a blessing. I know you are a good mother. I get all the news from Grandma Stallings. We are proud of you! And Kurt, I'm thinking your house will run pink for some time to come.
