Family Sealing

The next weekend after Heather was adopted we went to the Denver temple and sealed Heather to us. It was a beautiful day. Since we don't have much family around we had close friends and members of the ward come. I wanted people who played a role in heather's life her: Primary Presidency, teachers, parents of friends. my brother and his wife came as well as my parents. We felt so loved. Heather had a good time as well. Lauren and Lexie were able to come in and watch so we had the whole family. We tried to explain to the girls how special it was to be in the temple at their age, and I hope that the experience stays in the memory and gives them an added desire to go back. When we got out we saw two weddings and that was another great teaching moment.

Our forever Family. I wanted to get the adoption and sealing done before the baby came. It was easier with the baby inside than out. Plus it really let Heather have her day, because no one was cooing over the new baby.
My mom made matching skirts for all the girls. So cute and special that they could all match at the temple.
