This was Megan's pride and joy. We brined our turkey before cooking it and it turned out great. The turkey had a good flavor and was really juicy. We got the recipe from food network and we will use again. Since it was our first thanksgiving that we hosted we did a test turkey the week before. So needless to say we have lots of frozen turkey at our house.
Here is our table. Heather and Lauren made the cutest place settings of a turkey made out of different colored fingerprints. We used my stamps and they turned out cute. Thane was in charge of a thankful activity where we created a turkey out of a box and then filled it with papers that had things we were thankful for on them. After dinner we played games and then looked through all the ads. It was the first year we didn't get up early on black friday and it was so liberating!!It was fun being the host. Thane brought me flowers and wibke chocolates as well as this onsie for Alexis.
